One Tree Hill: New Characters to Love ...or Hate
And just to prove how skilled they are, they have let some good information about season seven leak out recently. Not only will Austin Nichols become a series regular, meaning that Brooke could actually find love and happiness this year, but three other fresh newbies will be arriving in Tree Hill to shake things up a bit.

Haley’s sister Quinn will come to Tree Hill all brokenhearted and needy -- searching for a mother figure. Hello! How perfect is that? With Karen gone, Haley has certainly taken over as the mother figure of Tree Hill. We know that Haley has three sisters and have only seen Taylor -- but after she seduced Nathan way back when, so we’re feeling a little nervous about any of the siblings milling about. Though it would be cool if their dad, played by Huey Lewis, would make another cameo sometime soon.
Alexis is the new face of Brooke’s clothing line. She’s a model, she's smart and hot and used to getting her way. She’s also a total party girl. Sounds like a young Brooke Davis or another Rachel. Wonder if we’ll get a scene with Alexis, buck naked in the back of some random boy’s car? It could happen!
And Clayton is fine looking, 20-something, successful sports agent who will be working with Nathan. He’ll also be very protective of our boy -- so we already like him. Are you thinking Jerry Maguire? We are too...and we love it!
With Julian becoming a permanent OTH fixture, what do you think will happen to Brooke? She loves Tree Hill and certainly isn’t going to want to leave (though it does seem more likely now that Leyton has split town). And how can Julian do his job in LA from Tree Hill? Will they have a long distance thing? Will they find common ground in NYC? What do you see happening for our new favorite couple?
And speaking of the long distance thing, what can the OTH scribes do to spice up the Mouth and Millie storyline now that they're shacking up again? Talk about it in the comments!

i will really miss lucas and payton but they sign contracts with other shows so they cant return which really suck but they have to appear as special guest cuz you cant just take them away.

I know the show is going to be awesome no matter what character but peyton and lucas held the show and i love them they will be missed hopefully maybe they will appear on future shows as a suprise guest...Can't wait till september...never miss a show

So I think that Lucas can leave but I'm going to miss Peyton. I love the Peyton and Brooke dynamic. I also think that Peyton can be really funny and I'm gonna miss that. Lately her story line had been boring, sad, and whinny; i won't miss that but she can be a really good comic relief.

I dont think the show will fall apart but I will be soooooooooo sad to see them leave....and i want to know how they will work that in....i'll give it a chance but idk if i'll keep watching it for long.....i have faith in the producers but we'll see........

Okay okay, Peyton and Lucas leaving is kind of sad. But why does everyone think it's going to tear OTH apart? The producers are obviously geniuses, so i doubt they are going to let them happen. Personally, i think Quinn is going to put a damper on Nathan's basketball career. If what shes looking for is a mother figure, i have a feeling Haley is going to have to choose between being beside Nathan's dream with him, or being beside Quinn. Idk, I personally think thats a bad idea.

I think its so stupid payton and lucas are leaving the show who ever disited that sucks.... they we the hole show the made the peices to the puzzle if you know what i mean i hope the new secion doesnt suck.. and ya its about time somthing happens with brook she needs love.

I won't miss Pucas one bit!!! Nathan and Haley have always been the show's supercouple! Most people don't like Pucas because of bad writing, lack of chemistry and the fact that they look like brother and sister. Ew! So good riddance to this boring couple!!!
Other than the always fantastic Naley, Brooke and Julian have awesome potential and so far are very rootable!!!

In no way are Brooke/Julian our "new favorite couple". Did you completely forget about Nathan and Haley? Who have been together since season one and have been through literally all obstacles faced by a couple yet remained strong through it all? They are much more interesting than the couple in which one girl is clearly in-love yet won't say it... talk about obstacles (*rolls eyes*)
And Mouth and Millie don't interest anyone. Get over yourself.
I'm glad in regards to Quinn joining... anyone from Haley's family is amazing (I loved her parents and even though Taylor was a slut -- I loved her relationship with Haley.)

Thank heavens for a Peyton and Lucas free season 7. The world will not end! I'm excited for a new season without all the woe is me Peyton and Lucas bring.They suck. Goodbye and good riddance. To those spouting LP have the biggest fanbase, please. One could argue NH or Brooke/BL has the biggest fanbases. Get over it. Most people hate LP. Naley is the couple of this show, always have been, always will be. Don't get it twisted. Stop sipping the Sunkist.

I'm sad to see lucas go, I can do without peyton. I'm interested to see what there gonna do with season 7. I hope it better than season 6. I thought season 6 wasnt that great. But I cant stop watchin OTH I'm addicted, I've been watching it since the 1st episode aired in 2003. Brooke and Julian have to be together

I soooo excited about season 7...i liked the younger lucas and peyton...but not the older ones..i think they need the spice....i think some new people coming in will work...but i think also we need a person that has rock music as a background..cause music plays a huge role and peyton kept that alive. i'm def gonna watch..i was sketchy about the start of season 5 but i turned out to love it sooo everyone watch..cause we really don't want it to get cancelled!

Everyone needs to get a grip. The world will not end because Peyton and Lucas left. Personally, I'm really excited for the new season. I agree with others, I hope Naley gets a bigger part. They have ALWAYS been the staple of the show (which has been proven through surveys and such) not Leyton. I also, am tired of listening to Peyton whine...she was always whining about something. Not to mention both characters have developed to their fullness. Let's see Brooke, Mouth, Skills, and the others have a chance to develop and shine more. They deserve it...they've been with the show since the beginning too, you know.
And all of you who won't watch the show because Leyton is gone, you can't call yourselves true fans. True fans will continue to watch no matter what. The same goes to you who wish the show bad ratings or think it should just be cancelled right now because Leyton is gone...and you call yourselves fans.
I don't mean to offend anyone but really people, season 7 hasn't even started yet...at least give it a chance. My goodness.
To those of you who are excited and will continue to watch, I commend you.

OMG!! Lucas and Peyton were the best thing in One tree hill!! It's so sad that they have to go... But there is Nathan and Haley, they are my number 2... I'm so nervous to see the news characters on the new season! And also I'm so exciting discover what's going on for Brooke and Julian!! I hope that the new season will be enormous and also beautiful that the six others... We'll see!

Well let me say that The Producers and Mark Schwahn DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE HECK THEY ARE DOING!!!! Lucas and Peyton were the only reason that the show has had the faithful viewers that it has for so long, idk if the show will make it, hope they make some spectacular thing happen. Oh yeah, and what about Mia and Chase, hello awesome couple!! but thats just my opinion and it may not change too much being that both Chad and Hilarie are gone, BUT why not bring them back to do guest appearences?????

I'm excited about the new season and all the new characters. I don't think the clayton character is here to break naley up (i hope not). I'm glad they're bringing one of haleys family on board cuz we always here about brook,lucas, and nates family never haleys. Also, I would love if they brought haleys parents on they were funny. Mouth/Gigi keep them away boring and chase/mia maybe. Hopefully some interesting stuff will happen good luck S7.

With peyton and lucas gone things are just not going to be the same ive watched every episode since the very first night it showed, and the show somewhat revolved around them, so im not sure if im going to like the new season

but also, i'm so exited to see where the show will go.
to be honest, i just want nathan and haleys love life to spark like it was in previous seasons before crazy nannie carrie showed up.
they are my fav.
and i personally believe true fans will continue to watch, just because the so called main couple left doesn't mean that the show has finished.
it's like sport, i seriously believe you can't have a one man side.
just look at all the good stuff lucas and peyton have done and look forward to all the good stuff that can and most likely will, come!

I was really excited to hear rumors about a new season because I really wanted to see what was becoming of lucas and peyton and how their married life worked out close to their friends (brooke, julian, skills...) and family (nathan haley jamie)! I just can't believe that they're gone, they make this series soooooooo good!!!haley and nathan could be a bit more couple like this season though! more drama should happen to both couple and i don't see background characters becoming too important because it would just ruin it! I really really hope that lucas and peyton are gonna come back so the story can be whole again!! :'(

The show won't be the same without the main 5 Haley,Nathan,Brooke,Peyton &Lucas so you guys running The CW might as well just cancel the show now and end it on a good note and don't ruin something that was so great. When you have something so great you don't mess with the nucleus meaning those 5 but you can mess with the surrounding characters. Congrats on ruining your flagship show I won't be watching your station!!

I can't wait for the new season. Sure it sucks that Leyton are gone but I think the show will be just as good without them.
I thought BAG was rumoured to play Clayton I didn't know that it was confirmed.
But I'm most looking forward to seeing Quinn. Hopefully this will mean that Haley gets a good storyline this year.

I hated Payton idk why, Brooke= amazing, Lucas will be missed, Hayley Nathan and Jamie=amazing, and I HOPE Brooke makes it work with Julian
and as for the new guys they sound cool, but Brian Austin Green lets just say I really hope his looks have improved since Beverley Hills 90210, because Sports agents are usually hot, and on BH 90210 he wasnt he looked like a hip hop/ r&b wannabe with his ugly little hoop ear ring, and all the guys on OTH except for Mouth are hot so yeah

I am sad to see Leyton leave the show, but at the same time I am glad that we still have a show! I really hope that Nathan and Haley can pick up their love life cause the last two seasons have been a little on the DL with crazy nannies and Nathan pursueing Basketball. I am really excited for this Clayton character, normally if its a new character its a girl so I am always happy when its a guy as long as he isn't trying to break people up. I hope Brook and Jillian can make things work for both of them in Tree Hill. I dont see why Jillian can't make movies in Tree Hill if Brook can run the clothing line there?!?!?! As for Haley's sister Quinn I hope that she isn't going to stir things up to much; I mean seriously there is Jamie to consider the poor kid has a murderer for a grandfather, a former drugy for a grandmother, two other grandparents who we've never seen him with who were a little on the crazy side to begin with, his uncle/ idol just left and he has had a nanny try to raise him as her own, a crazy aunt isn't really what the kid needs you know?
