America's Next Top Model: This Ain't Rocket Science

Nigel contemplates his sexual harassment lawsuit
Things definitely heat up this week on America's Next Top Model when the girls are forced to get the chemistry mix just right and learn quickly that too little or too much can be a dangerous concoction.
Making chemistry happen…or not
This week the girls are put to a real test. A test that involves personality. Throughout their career they will be asked to do some steamy couple shoots and they have to know how to break the ice with their "partner" for the day. So they are taken to Roosevelt Island where they will have a three-minute tram ride with a former male model. They'll have just that time to get to know him and to show him who they are.
The surprise is that the model is the scrumptious Nigel Barker, which makes the girls go a little nuts. Who can blame them? If we were in that same situation we'd probably just stare…and drool…and he'd end up calling security. Angelea shows him her "Hammer Dance" and it's horrible. Tatianna makes him miserable. Anslee is herself and breaks the ice. And then there's Jessica who gets the "No, Please, Stop Award" for the evening. She goes overboard and it's painful. Nigel actually said he felt a bit violated.
Find out what we think about the steamy shoot, the girls going fake, and the girl who's eliminated after the jump!
A hot and steamy photo shoot
Now that they've failed at breaking the ice, the girls are asked to do a real couple shoot and make it believable. Ross Matthews (aka Ross the Intern on Jay Leno) is their partner and they will be posed together in a window. Nigel is shooting from two stories down. They have only five shots and will be given no direction. Most do pretty well and Ross is just plain fun. But it's Jessica who gets top prize, oodles of delicious diamonds to keep forever. Frankly, we're surprised that Nigel's still speaking to her after their tram ride together.
Fake it 'til you make it
Designers don't want knock-offs taking their hard-earned dollars. We're thinking that someone who buys a knock-off purse for $25 on the streets of Manhattan won't be purchasing a $2,500 purse anyway, but who are we to argue with one of Tyra's pet projects? The theme for this week is fake—the girls come to set wearing fake nails, fake eyelashes, fake designer clothing—it's hideous. Some girls run with it and some just can't pull it off.
Wrappin' it up at panel
Typically we critique what the models are wearing at panel—and trust us, there's a lot of improvement that needs to be made in that area. But since Miss J has departed we haven't been wrapped up in what the judges wear…until this week. We're absolutely baffled about what André wears to panel—some sort of gigantic, red wrap. Coupled with the walking stick (used by him often while sitting) it's a sight to behold -- but of course we love it.
Jessica gets best photo of the week and shockingly, Angelea continues to shine, as does Krista. But there has to be a loser and this week Tatianna and Alexandra sit at the bottom. So it's back to mortician school (and the isle of Hawaii) for Tatianna -- after so many weeks of just one great shot in all of her frames, the judges were too unsure about her and afraid that the day would come that the one good shot wouldn't happen.
Who has the whole package?
There is no doubt that the girls are all lovely and most of them can take a really nice picture. But it takes more than beauty, it takes a whole package to win top prize at America's Next Top Model. Which one of the remaining girls do you think possesses all of the elements that it will take to win Cycle 14? Tell us in the comments.
