America's Next Top Model: A small fire & a hobbit. Who could ask for more?

The girls are enjoying the incredible scenery of New Zealand on America's Next Top Model this week and we’re happy as little clams because we finally got our hobbit-sighting…well, kind of. And things continue to get more and more weird at the house with the models turning on each other, taunting each other and being strangely passive-aggressive to one another. And please step away from the kitchen! Poor Jessica can’t even warm up taco shells without starting a small fire. Well, it’s not America’s Biggest Super Genius, now is it?

Angelea learns what a hobbit is
The girls are taken out into the gorgeous NZ wilderness to meet up with Jay Manuel and actress Sarah McLeod who played an actual hobbit in Lord of the Rings and discover that they are standing in a location where the films were shot. Four of the models are in awe (and of course, screaming). As for Angelea, it’s just crickets. She has no idea what a hobbit is and never even heard of the Oscar-winning films. Maybe they didn’t show those movies on the east side of Buffalo.
The girls are told that they will take part in a photo shoot challenge—they get only five frames. The lanky gals will be forced to pose in a doorway of the hobbit house and make it look like it’s not horribly uncomfortable. At least they don’t have to contend with gigantic feet and Gollum. Or do they?
Once again Jessica looks commercial. Angelea and Krista both do well and for some reason, as each girl does better they start seeing each other as competition and their friendship becomes less and less important. Krista wins the challenge (even we are getting tired of her winning everything) and scores more clothing and Angelea can hardly keep herself from knocking the girl out.
Does ANTM have a new sponsor?
Everyone clearly dislikes the bubbly and somewhat annoying, Raina. Seriously, how can you hang with someone who likes to say, “Oh, My-lanta” all the time? And for some reason Krista and Alexandra have decided to tag team the cruelty. Since when did these two become so chummy? But we think they shouldn’t start pointing fingers just yet. Krista’s “Yay, me” after every victory is almost as annoying as the Mylanta saying.
Quit your whining
The gang arrives in a lovely vineyard where the grapes are planted in the perfect position where they will get the best light. Then, Tyra arrives on set and announces that she will be doing a shadow shoot so it’s time for the girls to “find their light.”
The pressure is on for Jessica to find an edge and look more editorial. Raina goes topless and doesn’t really get the vibe on set. Angelea is blah until Tyra brings out the mystery in her shoot. It’s interesting because she seems to do well until she sees the other girls watching. Then the inner panic sets in. Krista is able to pull off a good shoot even though she was losing the light toward the end. Um…yay her?
The secret of smize
At panel this week we learn that smizing is simply looking into the horizon at something you can barely see. Maybe we’ve been doing this ANTM thing for too long, but that makes seriously good sense to us! Though, we still don’t get drekitude, so never mind.
Alexanda’s photo is stunningly lovely. Hard and edgy is clearly not Raina’s thing. Angelea looks soft and pretty but she struggles. Jessica gets lost in the shadow and Krista nails it again—so much so that Tyra actually said that she is “…ahead of the pack.”
No one is surprised when Krista gets best photo for the third week in a row (yawn). Alexandra also gets runner up once more. Jessica and Raina are at the bottom two and we have our second non-surprise of the evening when they decide to send Jessica home. Well, at least the firefighters of NZ can rest easy and the house will be a little bit safer next week.
Who will be the final two?
Two models will be eliminated next week and two will be left standing for the big season finale. Who do you want to see go head-to-head in the final two? Tell us here, in the comments!

I think we have too many Naiomi Campbells out there already who give modeling a spoiled brat and narcisstic overtone. Raina "bubbly demeanour should be refreshing...not a come down. Just because she does not let the other girls get to her does not mean she can't hold her own in the modeling world...infact she will get MORE respect from those she is trying to work for...she woudl represent both the company and their product well. Isn't THAT what modeling is? or is it a reality show of personality conflicts?

I want to see a final 2 showdown between Angelea and Krista... Krista has been great under pressure so far, but i'm waiting for her to crack at any moment!
